Class retrieves the Yahoo RSS Weather feed and caches
This class retrieves the Yahoo RSS Weather feed and caches the results. Supplied is the current weather conditions, including image, temperature, wind conditions, atmospheric data, etc. Also, two forecasts are provided. The script can retrieve any US Zip code or any Location ID for all countries and can display the results in metric or standard units. The files are cached as xml saving time and bandwidth for repeated displays. The data is returned in PHP arrays and can be used in any format desired by the user.
